North Yorkshire Council’s Stronger communities Team is a programme to support communities to play a greater role in the delivery of services in the county.
The RDC Community Team consists of Community Link Officers and Civil Enforcement Officers who provide a link between the Council and the community, Elected Members, Town and Parish Councils, and partner agencies
Community First Yorkshire is an influential, regional body which works with voluntary and community organisations, social enterprises and rural communities across North, South and West Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Youth provide opportunities for children and young people to learn and grow by:

supporting youth work in North Yorkshire communities

providing adventurous activities from Carlton Lodge Outdoor Centre

providing training opportunities for young people and those who work with them
The Ryedale Community Support Organisation (CSO) continues to support individuals and communities across Ryedale as they emerge from the government restrictions imposed during the Covid19 pandemic. They operate with support from, and in partnership with, North Yorkshire County Council and Ryedale District Council.
A network designed by Carers Plus Yorkshire to create a platform for community groups on which to celebrate, share and learn from the wonderful work happening within our communities.
Starting in Pickering, Ryedale charities and community organisations have come together to create a One Stop Shop of activity taking place on a monthly basis.
