Ryedale Community Connect is a partnership that brings together organisations in the public and voluntary sectors to tackle community issues caused by COVID-19.
By working together, "joining up" our approach and combining our resources, we aim to give citizens and communities in our district the help they need to cope, recover and thrive.
REDUCING POVERTY & DEBT
As a result of COVID-19, some residents have seen their income reduce and are struggling to cope financially. Ryedale Community Connect partners are working together to identify those most in need, raise awareness of the support available and help people to access benefits, services and advice.
MENTAL HEALTH & WELL-BEING
Living in lockdown, having limited opportunity to connect with family and friends, and working from home has increased the sense of isolation for many people. Ryedale Community Connect is working to improve mental health and well-being, and signpost those who need help to relevent services.
