Hear from key funders about what they want from applications, what projects they support and practical tips to help you receive a grant!
The North Yorkshire Funding Summit is a virtual event taking place on the 30th September. It is a great way of gaining an understand of the changing funding landscape to enable your group to build long-term financial resilience, as well as taking part in discussion panels relating to community buildings; mental health; sport and funding in the future.
Hear from Debra Allcock Tyler, Chief Executive of The Directory of Social Change as she discusses long term funding sustainability and what charities need to do now. Debra will explore what support is needed and how charities, community groups and funders need to adapt to embrace the future.
Also hear from Ben Cairns, Co-founder and Director of the Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR), as he explores if, and how, the progressive funding practices of the past 18 months can be sustained and enhanced, in order to give voluntary organisations the resources and freedom to be the best that they can be.
Date and time: Thursday 30 September 10am – 4.30pm, held on Zoom
Registration fee: £5 per person (inc. VAT) for the full day
